FI2000: The Aircraft List
The following aircraft are those expected to appear at Farnborough International 2000, according to show organizers SBAC.

  • Alenia will present two C27J Spartan (one on Static, one to fly), an ATR42MP Surveyor (static) and the AMX (static/fly). The C27J Spartan has a similar cockpit display to the C130J and in this configuration is making its first appearance at Farnborough International. An ATR42 Maritime Patrol aircraft is also making its Farnborough debut.


  • Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey - The first time at Farnborough International. Two aircraft, one on Static Display, one in the Flying Display


  • Boeing 767-400ER - the first time for this variant at Farnborough International. The aircraft will be on Static Display only.


  • Boeing F-18E/F Super Hornet - The first time at Farnborough International for the Super Hornet. Two F-18F (ie, two-seat) aircraft will be coming to the Show - one on Static Display and one in the Flying Display.


  • Boeing Business Jet - The first time at Farnborough International, a mock-up attended 1998.


  • Bombardier is planning to bring seven aircraft, including the CRJ-700, which will be at Farnborough International for the first time. Indications are that the CRJ 700 will be in the Flying Display. The other 6 aircraft are likely to be on Static Display only.


  • Bristow, together with Aircraft Services Group, is bringing an S-61; alone is presenting a Coastguard Service S-61


  • Cessna - Cessna will display aircraft at the show for the first time since 1994. Eight aircraft are expected to be in the Static Display with first appearances at Farnborough for the CJ1, CJ2 (mock-up), C-750, C-550 Bravo and C-560XL.


  • Diamond Aircraft is bringing its DA40-180 diamond Star glider tug, together with the SuperDimona powered glider and the ASW24 glider. All are to be part of the Flying Display.


  • Embraer is planning to bring an EMB-120, ERJ-135, ERJ-140 (prototype) - a first time at Farnborough International - and an ERJ-145. It is likely that the ERJ-135, -140 and -145 will fly.


  • Ericsson Microwave - is bringing two of Saab 340 based "Erieye" AEW aircraft. One aircraft will be on Static Display, one will take part in the Flying Display.


  • Eurofighter - It is expected that Eurofighter/Typhoon will be flying on each day of the show.


  • Fairchild Dornier - it is believed that Fairchild Dornier will bring a 328Prop for Static Display and a 328JET to take part in the Flying Display.


  • Galaxy Astra SPX - The six-seat business jet will be on Static Display only, together with the Galaxy business jet.


  • GKN-Westland - Merlin, Lynx Mk 8, and Apache.


  • Gulfstream - a Gulfstream V will be on Static Display


  • JSF Mock-Ups - Boeing has advised that a mock-up of their contender for the JSF contract will be on display in the Outdoor Area. Lockheed Martin will also be presenting a JSF mock-up outside their building at Hall 5.


  • Limair Industry of Belgium is presenting its Murphy Rebel and Jabiru UL light aircraft. Both aircraft are coming to Farnborough International for the first time.


  • Lockheed Martin F-16 C/D - Two F-16 aircraft will be at the Show - one on Static Display next to the Lockheed Martin Building, and one in the Flying Display.


  • Moravan is bringing Zlin aircraft, the 143L and 242L. Both will take part in the Flying Display.


  • Northrop Grumman Global Hawk - The first time at Farnborough International for this UAV which will be on Static Display.


  • Omega - the Tanker version of the Boeing 707 is likely to be on Static Display only.


  • Piaggio - a P180 Avanti will be on Static Display


  • Pilatus is presenting the Pilatus PC12 for Static Display


  • Raytheon is planning to bring six aircraft, including the Premier 1, which will be at Farnborough International for the first time. All aircraft are likely to be on Static Display only.


  • Saab is bringing two Gripen aircraft (one flying, one static). An associate company, Saab Nyge Aero, is presenting the MU-2B for static display only.


  • Sikorsky is planning to bring an S-92 with mock-up to show the configuration for the projected S-92 Helibus.


  • Streamline is bringing a BAe146-100, which will be on static/flying display.


  • Sukhoi Su-32MF - This single seat Maritime Fighter version of the Su-32 is likely to be on Static Display in the morning and in the Flying Display in the afternoon.

- C-17 (static/fly)
- F-15E (static/fly)
- P-3C (static)
