The Pomornik has been launched

On October 24 "Marine Plant - Diamond" based in St.
Petersburg city launched first of two Air Cushion Landing Crafts of Zubr (Pomornik)
class ordered by Greece. The contract for two landing ships was arrange between
"Rosvooruzhenie" retailer and Ministry of Defence of Greece on 24
January 2000. Worth of the contract is estimated to be around $100million.
