A UK consortium offering Russian Kamov helicopters and Kaman Aerospace of
the US have been dropped from the 100 million Irish pound competition to
fill Ireland's biggest ever defense contract. Bond Helicopters, Sikorsky,
Eurocopter and EH Industries have been short-listed to supply five new
helicopters of which three are for search and rescue and two for troop
