Nammer : Apparently first flown in the spring of 1991, the Nammer (tiger) is a hybrid fighter with the airframe of the Kfir-C2/C7 and a powerplant comprising either the SNECMA Atar 9K-50 turbojet or a turbofan (probably the General Electric F404/Volvo Flygmotor RM12 but possibly the Pratt & Whitney PW1120 or SNECMA M53) as the so-called Nammer Option 1, which can also use reworked Mirage III airframes, or as the Nammer Option 2 with the above plus key features of the electronic suite developed for the cancelled IAI Lavi multi-role fighter including the Elta EL/M-2032 radar or EL/M-2011 lightweight radar, a HUD and other systems. The type is offered by IAI as a conversion of existing Mirage III/5 airframes for the export market, but it is believed that the type has yet to secure an order.
