Updates - Suez Canal Grounding
As of 27/03, MV EVER GIVEN remains grounded at km. 151 in Suez Canal. During evening 26/03, various Egyptian media outlets indicated that the skillful and dedicated efforts from Suez Canal Authority's salvage team succeeded to release EVER GIVEN's propeller and rudder.
They also indicated that vessel had partly moved. Around 10 tugboats, two dredger vessels and skillful Suez Canal Authority staff are involved in the operation, working around the clock to refloat the vessel.

On early morning 29/03, MV EVER GIVEN was partially refloated. Current projections of being fully refloated is positive (subject to confirmation). This comes after an impressive effort and coordination by Suez Canal Authority, which restarted operations around 0300 hrs (GMT+2). Efforts continues this morning with 10 tugs, including TUG ALP GUARD & TUG CARO MAGNO from SMIT Salvage company.
This morning's efforts and progression comes after a coordinated operation of tugs and dredgers.
