MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. (AFPN) — A B-2 Spirit from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., positions itself behind a KC-135 from here for refueling. The KC-135 unloaded about 6,500 gallons of fuel to the B-2, while flying at more than 28,000 feet over the state of Missouri. The refueling, which was part of regularly scheduled training, is one of MacDill's more unique missions. While MacDill crews fly about 60 training missions each month, only about one per month involves a B-2 Spirit. (Photo by 2nd Lt. Richard Komurek)
