Greece losses its 5th F-16

US made F-16 fighter-bomber crashed this Monday off the coast of Greece. Pilot reported dead. Initial reports suggest that pilot is likely lost orientation and confused between air and water body.
This was the fifth F-16 lost by Greece since these aircraft entered service back in 1989.

This was the 11th F-16 reported by media to be lost this year and also the 3rd in one day. Assuming the amount of time left this year, number of accidents involving this plane should be not as high as in previous years.
