Not only will #CRS11 be the first #SpaceX mission to reuse a #Dragon, it will also be the 100th launch off LC-39A! #PrettyCool

@frederickcook @NASASpaceflight Yup. This Dragon flew CRS-4 in Sept.-Oct. 2014 and has been refurbished. We'll have a overview of it up for launch.

Hans Koenigsmann notes this mission will be the first with a previously-flown Dragon (from SpX-4); plan to fly more used ones in the future.
Weather forecast still 70% go for Thursday; 60% go for backup date Saturday.
NASA ISS manager Kirk Shireman: very happy with flying this Dragon again; made sure no risk of reusing the spacecraft.
Shireman, when asked if NASA got a discount for flying a used Dragon: “In general, when we do things like this, we make trades.”
Koenigsmann: majority of this Dragon has been in space before. Some components, like the heat shield, have been replaced.
Koenigsmann also said SpaceX was still planning “end of this year” for first (uncrewed) Dragon v2 demo flight.
Shireman: looking at flying Dragons on reused Falcon 9 launches; want to be methodical, haven’t set a timetable yet.
Koenigsmann: see a lot of construction going on at SLC-40, expect late summer/early fall return of launches there.
