A builders' model of the R.M.S. Albertic for the White Star Line circa 1927 the hull built up from the solid, with a painted pale red bottom, black and white topsides with inset brass portholes, name, anchor, gangways, topside boarding gates, windows and other topside details. The decks in maple veneer with the planking lines drawn in India ink and detailed with chocks, bollards, deck railings, anchors, chain, and windlass; belfry, ventilators, deck hatches, boats on davits (18) with collapsible boats below, main mast with crow's nest, rigging, cargo booms; main deck structure with bridge and bridge wings, wireless terminal, a pair funnels painted in White Star Line buff color, aft mast rigged with cargo booms and other details, aft docking bridge, flagstaff and numerous other details. Displayed within a wood framed glass case.
