... C’mon, let’s not waste time with Apollo conspiracy theories. We know they went, the hoaxers refuse to believe it, never the twain shall meet, end of story. It doesn’t matter.
What matters is that [color=red]over the next year we’re going to be drooling again and again over pictures from LRO.
We are going to see breathtaking detail inside craters and on mountains.
We’re going to see, more than likely, some of the hardware that took Man to the Moon.
We’re going to see images of the places where Man will return to the Moon, and where we will, finally, start to be a truly space-dwelling species - essentially, we’re going to see sites that are as historically important as anything here on Earth.
And they’re just the images we can predict.
Just as has been the case with MRO there will be images that will surprise, shock and delight us, images that will revolutionise our view of the Moon, images that will make us fall in love with our nearest neighbour all over again and make us all feel differently about it whenever we look up and see it shining in the sky…
